Student Life

At Rev. Gaddiel Acquaah Mem. Methodist Preparatory School, life beyond the classroom is where confidence grows, friendships are made, and character is shaped for life.

We believe a great education reaches well past textbooks and timetables. Every day at Rev. Gaddiel Acquaah Mem. Methodist Preparatory School is full of opportunities for our learners to discover new talents, take on responsibility, and find their place within a warm and supportive community.

From the first bell to the final activity of the day, we want every child to feel they belong, feel challenged, and feel proud of who they are becoming.

Clubs & Societies

Curiosity is at the heart of Rev. Gaddiel Acquaah Mem. Methodist Preparatory School. Our clubs give learners the chance to explore interests, build new skills, and work alongside friends who share their passions.

Whatever a child is drawn to, there is a place for them to grow it further.

Sport & Physical Wellbeing

An active body supports an active mind. Sport at Rev. Gaddiel Acquaah Mem. Methodist Preparatory School teaches teamwork, resilience, fair play, and the simple joy of movement.

Learners are encouraged to take part regardless of ability, competing with heart and cheering one another on. Through training, friendly fixtures and our sports days, pupils learn to win with grace and lose with dignity.

The Arts & Music

Creativity gives every child a voice. Our arts and music programme invites learners to paint, perform, sing, dance and make.

Concerts, exhibitions and cultural showcases give pupils a stage to share their gifts, while the process itself builds patience, imagination and self-belief.

Every child has something to say — the arts give them the courage to say it.

Leadership Opportunities

Leadership at Rev. Gaddiel Acquaah Mem. Methodist Preparatory School is about service, not status. We create real responsibilities so that young people can practise integrity, teamwork and good judgement.

These roles help learners understand that leading well means listening, including others, and setting a strong example.

Pastoral Care & Wellbeing

A happy child is ready to learn. Our pastoral care wraps around every pupil, so that no one is overlooked and every worry has somewhere to go.

Attentive class teachers, open lines of communication with families, and a culture of kindness help our learners feel safe, valued and understood. We take wellbeing seriously and guide pupils to treat themselves and others with respect.

House & Community Spirit

Our house system gives every learner a wider family within the school. Through friendly competition, shared goals and plenty of encouragement, pupils learn to support one another and celebrate collective success.

House spirit builds loyalty, cooperation and pride — and reminds each child that they are part of something bigger than themselves.

Trips & Events

Some of the most memorable lessons happen beyond the school gate. Educational trips, field visits and special events bring learning to life and broaden every pupil's horizons.

Together, these experiences turn everyday learning into lasting memories — and help our pupils leave Rev. Gaddiel Acquaah Mem. Methodist Preparatory School as confident, capable and caring young people.
